The Cedar Springs Community Players and Dave Schmuker invite you to come and see our 2023 fall play “Boyd’s Droyds”. Directed by one of our own local playwrights, this Sci-fi comedy is a cautionary tale about the dangers of artificial intelligence and the pitfalls of looking for love in the modern age. Max Boyd’s motto is ‘give the people what they want’. He gives them robots that look, talk, and act just like real people. Max doesn’t concern himself with what the robots want though. Good thing there are safeguards in place to keep them in line…
Held in Cedar Springs’ historic Kent Theatre, you can attend evening performances at 7:30PM on October 20th and 21st, with a 3:00PM matinee show on October 22nd. Tickets will be $15 at the door, or $6 for students under 18. You can purchase tickets in advance for $12 at the Cedar Springs Library.
